Bearing arrangements for wire rope sheaves in mobile cranes contain bearings that are designed for high load applications. They must reliably support load combinations comprising radial forces, axial forces and tilting forces.
INA bearings series SL04. RR. and FAG integral tapered roller bearings JK0S have proved suitable for this type of application.
Full complement cylindrical roller bearings SL04 are designed for high load applications. Lip seals, special grease and a corrosion-resistant surface provided by Corrotect® plating offer highly effective protection against contamination and water splash.
The bearings are easy to fit in wire rope sheaves. The grooves allow the outer rings to be axially located using retaining rings.
FAG integral tapered roller bearings JK0S are ready-to-fit, easily mounted units. In designs with very high loads and not particularly high speeds, such as track rollers, crane wheels and sheaves, integral tapered roller bearings can be used to achieve particularly economical bearing arrangements.
