Detend pins

Detent pins are used in transmission switching systems. In the outer gearshift they are usually located below the passenger area. In the inner gearshift, they are pressed or screwed in in the transmission housing or the transmission component of the lever mechanisms. They act on moving parts, such as the selector shaft, selector rods, or selector rails.

Due to their mechanical design and function, which is specially adapted to the application, they significantly affect the optimal technical shift curve and the ease of shifting for the driver in a manual transmission.

Special features:

  • Complete units, ready to install
  • Improved gear-change characteristics
  • Very cost-effective
