The training concept
Our training programme takes into consideration the requirements and needs of particular target groups. This is the reason that engineers, commercial personnel and fitters find themselves attending a series of training courses each building on their predecessors.
All target groups are considered under a uniform training approach. The first step is always product training, covering the various designs of rolling bearings, plain bearings and linear guidance systems and their designations. Typical applications are presented reflecting the selection criteria and the customer benefits achieved. This is followed by the bearing arrangement systems, taking the training participant deeper into the areas of application of the bearings.
These training courses focussed on products also form the basis of the modules considering rolling bearing theory and selected application examples. The rolling bearing theory conveys the necessary knowledge, such as bearing clearance, load distribution in the bearing, rating life or lubrication, in order to define the factors giving the longest possible operating life.
There are workshops devoted to special application examples. The examples covering machine tools or shaft bearing arrangements guide the training participant through an advisory work process. Starting from the enquiry and design brief, via bearing selection and calculation, the training participant works through to the technical proposal.
There are also several training modules covering the fitting and dismantling of rolling bearings and linear guidance systems. Through visual work and his own activity, the trainee acquires the knowledge and skills in mounting required for practical work. Our training courses on mounting cover an arc spanning a large number of applications. Mounting exercises using individual products are followed by work on more complex systems, such as gearboxes or railway wheelsets.
The training participant learns about the options for appropriate planning of maintenance of machinery, plant and rolling bearings, instead of leaving these to (costly) chance, in appropriate courses. Our trainers communicate the theoretical principles of vibration analysis, the practical application of measuring systems and the use of configuration and analysis software. The theoretical knowledge gained is reinforced by practical exercises.
The link "Courses and dates" will take you to the descriptions of the training courses. The list box on this page will allow you to make a preliminary selection according to the target group in your case. Through a further distinction in the list box "Basic, advanced" or "Intensive", you can match your course selection to existing knowledge or to the training courses already attended. In addition, the prerequisites for the courses as stated in the descriptions will give you valuable assistance in ensuring an optimum training sequence. If you wish to see all the training courses, simply leave the fields in the list box empty.
Once you have defined the training courses according to the criterion of the target group, icons at the top right confirm your selection. These are present

The second list box will give you information on the training courses in your area.
